The Group Corporate Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the Group complies with Financial Legislation such as Companies Act, Tax laws, Financial Reporting Standards . Working directly with the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities include:

Tax Compliance:
• Prepare and submit Income Tax Returns to SARS to ensure compliance with Tax Legislation.

• Acts as a liaison between the Group and SARS regarding resolution of queries on issues

• Prepares Tax Computations for External Auditors to be placed in the Group’s financial

• Prepare VAT calculations and VAT returns for reasonability before submission.

Requirements:
• Liaises with the Company Secretary consultants to maintain Company Documents (CM Documents, Share Certificates, Certificate of commencement of business etc) up to date and in compliance with the Companies Act.

Financial Statements:
• Acts as a liaison between the Group and External Auditors regarding submission of files for audit purposes and resolution of Audit related queries to ensure compliance with Audit Standards.

• Prepares and submits separate and consolidated financial statements for the Group in accordance with Company Act requirements and financial reporting standards.

Miscellaneous Compliances:
• Liaises with the Reserve Bank and submits relevant documentation to ensure that the Group complies with Exchange Regulations Controls as per requirements of the Reserve Bank.

• Prepares and submits reports to the Reserve Bank on the Group’s Foreign Subsidiaries to ensure compliance with Exchange Regulations Controls.

Group Corporate Compliance Manager Job Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant is non-negotiable
• 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role includign articles
• Extensive IT principles and systems knowledge is required
