Accountant

Our client is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Accountant to join their team in Luanda, Angola. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for accurate and punctual accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with both the company's standards and local legislation. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for the business unit. Your role will involve ensuring a reliable and punctual financial Record-To-Report (R-to-R) Process, in line with Group standards and local legal requirements. You will also be expected to provide constructive input on the R-to-R Process, suggesting improvements where necessary. Additionally, you will execute reliable and punctual financial administration, including proper filing. Your role will also involve producing periodical financial reports, conducting statutory reporting, and responding adequately to queries from the company regarding the financials.

• Ensure reliable and punctual financial Record-To-Report (R-to-R) Process in accordance with Group standards and local legal requirements
• Provide constructive input on the R-to-R Process and suggest improvements
• Execute reliable and punctual financial administration, including proper filing
• Produce periodical financial reports and information (monthly/quarterly/yearly and on request)
• Conduct statutory and statistics reporting in compliance with Group standards and legal requirements

The ideal candidate for this Accountant position brings proven experience in accounting. You should have experience with Financial Record-To-Report (R-to-R) Processes. Your ability to provide constructive input and suggest improvements will be key in this role. Experience in executing reliable and punctual financial administration is also required. Furthermore, you should have the ability to produce periodical financial reports, as well as experience in conducting statutory reporting.
