Group Finance Analyst

We have partnered up with a global organisation that is seeking to on board a Group Finance Analyst based in Tanzania. This role is involves maximising ROI, boosting market share, and skyrocketing customer satisfaction. The Group Financial Analyst will be working across multiple countries, making game-changing financial decisions that will shape the company's future. It's an exhilarating opportunity in a multi-geographical setting.

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Analyst:

  • Craft vision, strategic direction, and group annual business plan
  • Steer business planning, ensuring effective implementation of plans to hit financial/non-financial targets
  • Communicate and instil commitment to corporate values
  • Chair and provide strategic advice to internal/external business committees/forums
  • Spot opportunities for cost optimisation and track progress across the group
  • Ensure attraction, retention, and skill development of team members

Key Requirements from the successful candidate:

  • Robust strategic planning skills
  • Chartered accountant qualification
  • 12 – 18 years of experience of which a minimum of 3 is in a leadership role within a diversified business in Africa.
  • Proven track record in maximising ROI and boosting market share
  • Experience working in a diverse, multi-geographical setting
  • Ability to communicate corporate values effectively
  • Experience in chairing business committees/forums
  • Demonstrated ability to spot cost optimisation opportunities
