This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to thrive in a vibrant setting, where you will be entrusted with all facets of Financial Planning & Analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support. The successful candidate will have the privilege of working closely with the executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial future.

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play a central role in identifying business challenges and proposing effective solutions. You will work hand-in-hand with the executive team to craft medium to long-term financial strategies.

Key qualifications for the FP&A Manager:

  • FMVA / CFA / AFM / MFM
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • 5-10 year's experience in a finance role (preferably Financial Planning & Analysis)
  • Experience within Corporate Finance and/or Management Consulting advantageous
  • Experience working in emerging markets and on multiple continents, including Africa

Your responsibilities will also encompass:

  • Modelling long-term growth trajectories
  • Assessing projections and budgets
  • Overseeing all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis
  • Collaborating with various business units to forecast revenue and expenses for forthcoming years
  • Providing comprehensive reviews on cost centre findings, and upholding the company's values.
  • Identify and comprehend business challenges
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions
  • Collaborate intimately with the executive team to craft the company's medium to long-term financial and strategic vision
  • Model long-term growth trajectories and identify the business elements that influence them
  • Assess and recommend modifications to projections and budgets generated by your analysts
  • Oversee all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis, such as planning, expenditure management, forecasting, report generation, among other tasks
  • Work together with various business units to forecast revenue and expenses for the forthcoming years
  • Provide comprehensive review and commentary on cost centre findings

Key personal skills for a successful FP&A Manager:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Excellent financial acumen and quantitative skills
  • Strong presentation skills
