Group Accountant

A well-established pharmaceutical company based in Mauritius, is looking for a readily available and experienced Group Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant and exciting company and will primarily be responsible for the accounting and reporting functions. They should have extensive experience in inter-company transactions as well as a strong knowledge of IFRS.

Group accountant responsibilities:

• Responsible for running the day-to-day operations to support the business finance functions

• Reconciling the business expenditures and incomes as well as the payroll control accounts

Group accountant requirements:

• Readily available (Immediate or max 2 week notice period)

• A relevant degree in Finance or accounting

• Minimum 2-3 years' work experience in a senior accounting position as well as 5 years' experience as an Accountant
• Attention to detail and the ability to communicate at all levels
