Cost and Management Accountant

Our client, a manufacturing company in the forestry sector is looking to hire an experienced Cost & Management Accountant to oversee their operations in Ghana and Sierra Leone. The chosen candidate, if already based, outside of Ghana or Sierra Leone does not need to relocate for the role, but will travel regularly into both countries.

Role responsibilities:

• Production analysis: Preparing and reviewing monthly production reports
• Analysing Volume and Price Variance with detailed commentary for business users
• Post monthly allocation journals
• Management of product lists ensuring new products are accurately created across the group with correct cost code allocation and uniform item numbers
• Automating reporting through use of Analytic Tools to speed up reporting

Candidate Requirements:

• Finance, Accounting or Related field qualification
• 5 years or more experience working in fast growing manufacturing or forestry business
• Fluency in English and excellent computer literacy
