Our client is seeking an experienced Manager for their Trade, Investment & Corporate Finance department. This role is based in Cairo and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of trade and investment within Eastern and Southern Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, driving deals to closure, and promoting strategic initiatives. This role requires a dynamic individual with a background in finance and banking products.
What you'll do:
As a Manager in Trade, Investment & Corporate Finance, your primary responsibility will be to drive business development efforts, focusing on Eastern and Southern Africa. You will identify opportunities, drive deals to successful closure, and play a key role in promoting strategic initiatives. Your duties will also include reviewing financing requests from customers and partners, developing new financing products, preparing annual marketing plans, building relationships with clients, managing an extensive portfolio of clients, and working with various teams to structure transactions.
- Identify opportunities and drive deals to successful closure
- Contribute to the conceptualization and implementation of strategic initiatives
- Review financing requests submitted by customers and partners
- Develop new financing products related to the Department’s activities
- Prepare annual Marketing Plan for the region
- Build close relationships with private sector clients and public sector officials
- Manage an extensive portfolio of Intra-African trade-focused clients
- Work with various teams to structure intra-African trade transactions
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Manager - Trade, Investment & Corporate Finance position, you bring a wealth of experience from your time spent in leading financial services organizations. Your educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics as well as a Postgraduate degree from a renowned university. You have at least 8 years' experience in banking and finance products and solutions. Your ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your experience managing processes, coordinating resources, producing technical material will be highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or any relevant field
- Postgraduate degree from a renowned university (preferably with a specialization in Finance, Business or Economics)
- At least 8 years’ experience with a leading financial services organization
- Sound background knowledge in banking and finance products and solutions
- Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally
- Experience managing processes, coordinating resources, producing technical material
