Finance & Grants Manager (Agricultural)

The Finance & Grants Manager will oversee the company’s financial management, donor reporting, and compliance functions. This role combines core financial leadership with responsibility for managing project-based reporting (including Trade Hub and Private Investment reporting), ensuring adherence to financial controls, and driving operational efficiency across the Ghana operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts, cash-flow projections, and oversee audits.
• Manage grant and donor reporting, ensuring accurate expenditure tracking, compliance, and timely submissions.
• Maintain strong internal controls through audits, reviews, and policy development.
• Oversee HR administration, including contracts, performance documentation, and compliance.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders.

Key Deliverables
• Timely, accurate financial and grant reports.
• Full compliance with statutory and donor requirements.
• Strong audit outcomes and effective budget management.
• Accurate HR and payroll records.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics.
• ACCA/CA/CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in financial management, including donor/grant reporting.

Skills & Tools
• Strong accounting, analysis, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, MS 365, and ERP systems.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to mentor staff.
