Investment Revenue Specialist
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an Investment Revenue Specialist to join their dynamic team in Centurion for a 12-month fixed term contract.
As the Investment Revenue Specialist, your expertise will be central to driving profitability, supporting key decision-making processes and ensuring robust governance across all revenue streams.

Qualifications and experience required for the Investment Revenue Specialist:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Mathematics
- At least 5 years’ experience within the financial services sector is essential; prior exposure to asset management environments is highly desirable
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and practices alongside solid tax (VAT) knowledge
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as FSB / FIAS as well as collective investment principles or multi-management frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial; working knowledge of Word and Access is also important while experience with JDE would be advantageous
- Experience using data analytics tools such as Qlikview, SQL or PowerBI would be considered beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to manage administration fees including broker/advisor/corporate fee structures along with initial/annual/ongoing fee management responsibilities
Key duties of the Investment Revenue Specialist:
- Develop revenue forecasts to support budgeting and inform long-term decisions.
- Analyse revenue drivers like AUM, market impacts, client flows and sales activity to guide strategy.
- Conduct scenario analyses to assess market impacts on revenue and provide recommendations.
- Perform DCF and valuation analyses for special projects to evaluate financial impact.
- Review fee arrangements for fairness, compliance, and operational feasibility.
- Advise on new fee structures in collaboration with distribution and investment teams.
- Maintain financial controls and audit trails for revenue processes.
- Oversee monthly fee reporting, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Identify and implement improvements to revenue processes and models.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and advisors.
