Business Development Manager

Qualifications and experience required for the Business Development Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline
- CFA or CFP designation would be highly advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment distribution, ideally gained within asset management
- Proven history of cultivating productive relationships with IFAs as well as retail clients
- Comprehensive understanding of investment products
- Exceptional presentation skills
Key duties of the Business Development Manager:
- Develop and execute distribution strategies to grow assets under management in retail and IFA channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IFAs, wealth managers, and retail investors through expert support.
- Present the firm’s investment philosophy, process, and products to clients via tailored presentations.
- Host client meetings, roadshows, and training sessions to deepen product understanding and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the investment team to ensure accurate and timely external communication.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records, prepare sales reports, and update pipelines for internal stakeholders.
- Address client queries promptly while delivering exceptional service.
- Contribute client insights to refine marketing strategies and outreach efforts.
