A leading provider of discretionary investment management services, is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and efficiency. The candidate will be involved in the day-to-day operations and key projects across multiple locations, reporting directly into the Head of Operations. This role requires collaboration with global investment, operations, sales, software development and support teams.

What you'll do:

As an Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's business. You will be responsible for monitoring investor accounts, implementing business processes, and ensuring accurate implementation of investment mandates. Your role will also involve working closely with various teams within the organisation, including asset management and software development. Furthermore, you will develop trusted relationships with investment platforms, advisers and clients. Your ability to oversee and deliver on business-wide projects will be essential in this role.

  • Monitor and instruct rebalances of investor accounts using proprietary technology
  • Design, implement and monitor all business processes
  • Ensure accurate implementation of investment mandates and client instructions via financial advisers onto underlying platforms
  • Work closely with the Asset Management team to notify them of flows into funds
  • Develop trusted relationships with investment platforms, advisers and clients
  • Oversee and deliver on business-wide projects
  • Maintain expertise, skill and technical knowledge required to add valuable input across the business

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operations Analyst position brings a unique set of skills and experiences. You are adept at processing, organising, and presenting data in a clear and understandable manner. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel allows you to analyse and solve problems effectively. You possess a keen intellect with a high level of commercial and financial acumen. Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to manage changes internally as well as through our network of advisers and platform partners. Your strong communication skills allow you to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to process, organise and present data in a transparent and easily digestible format
  • Proficiency in analysing and solving problems using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail whilst being pragmatic and able to deliver at speed
  • High level of commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and change management skills
  • Ability to work well within a small entrepreneurial team
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
