We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager for Business Development to spearhead our growth and expansion initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and developing innovative product offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the market landscape, exhibit strong leadership skills, and have the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve business targets and performance goals, ensuring high client satisfaction and growth.
  • Provide accurate business development forecasts and ensure data integrity.
  • Remove internal and external obstacles to facilitate business development opportunities.
  • Analyse data and trends to develop strategic business development plans and best practices for market segmentation.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and ensure the team is up-to-date on market trends.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for client issues, maintaining high-level communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships effectively to maximise revenue and communicate objectives clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with service providers on reporting and forecasting.
  • Consult with key internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Ensure team alignment with operating plan targets, retention targets, and performance metrics.
  • Foster professional relationships with brokers, team members, and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise business development processes and enhance client experiences.
  • Drive process efficiency and engage in industry surveys to inform strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in business development.
  • Manage risks and compliance effectively.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Business Growth: Support business growth through organic growth and acquisitions. Develop and implement strategies aligned with organisational goals. Conduct market research and establish long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Operations Management: Implement strategic plans, analyse metrics, and adjust strategies based on market feedback. Prepare regular reports on business development activities.
  • Budget Management: Review and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring compliance and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Enhance corporate profile through effective stakeholder management. Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications in business development or sales management preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ Years of operational experience in management, business, or commercial fields.
  • 4+ Years of management experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
  • Healthcare background beneficial.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong market research and competitive analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and possessing strong communication skills.
