A well-established Private Equity company is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager to be responsible for designing models and actively manage risks in their Ventures & Finance group. The role will be fully remote.
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice and support in building and maintaining a risk and compliance tool set.
- Ensure the effective implementation of all frameworks
- Ensure that all risk exposures are identified and captured
- Create a framework to measure and analyse all market risks
- Suggest, develop and implement new operational risk and market risk controls
- Develop operational and market risk reports for new asset classes, products, and complex trades
- Provide advice and expertise to assist the trading unit in optimising market risk profiles
- Effective stakeholder Relationship management
- Monitoring of deals
Skill set and Values
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience in a risk management or compliance role
- Prior experience within a trading unit
- Experience within a day-trading environment is non-negotiable
- Technical knowledge of trading software
- Strong experience with market risk
- KYC document knowledge
- Experience dealing with different asset classes
