Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager for their Human Resources department, focusing on Pay & Benefits. This role is based in Egypt and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, managing end-to-end payroll and benefits processes. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient administration of these processes while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to risk mitigation controls.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Manager in HR focusing on Pay & Benefits, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processing, from initial drafts to final release, ensuring accuracy at every step. Your excellent attention to detail will be crucial in performing pre- and post-payroll reconciliations, as well as administering staff benefits. Your role will also involve responding to staff queries regarding payroll and benefits policies, providing clear guidance where necessary. Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and testing of salary and benefits related functionalities on the Payroll system.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of staff payroll
  • Perform pre- and post-analysis and payroll reconciliations for each payroll cycle
  • Administer staff benefits including annual renewal and enrolment processes for staff insurances and other similar benefit programmes
  • Conduct thorough verification of all staff claims and benefits
  • Calculate end-of-service benefits for all types of exits
  • Provide support on all internal and external audit information requests related to payroll audits
  • Respond efficiently to staff queries related to payroll and benefits policies
  • Support the design, development, and testing of salary and benefits related functionalities on the Payroll system
  • Establish and maintain adequate controls to prevent and mitigate potential risks associated with payroll and benefits processing

What you bring:

As an Assistant Manager: HR (Pay & Benefits), you bring a wealth of experience in end-to-end global or regional payroll processing. Your practical experience with processing payrolls for multiple entities sets you apart from others. You are an expert user of HR systems such as SAP and SuccessFactors Payroll. Your good knowledge of accounting principles coupled with impeccable numeric skills makes you adept at handling complex calculations with ease. Above all, your high levels of integrity ensure that you handle confidential information with utmost care.

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in end-to-end global or regional payroll processing
  • Practical experience with processing payrolls for multiple entities
  • Expertise in using HR systems such as SAP and SuccessFactors Payroll
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Impeccable numeric skills and advanced excel/basic modelling skills
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all internal and external customers
