Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting clients with employment-related legal matters, ranging from discrimination and harassment cases to wage and hour disputes. Drafting and Documentation: Prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and contracts, as necessary for litigation or negotiation.
Litigation: Represent clients in administrative hearings, arbitration proceedings, and court trials, and provide effective advocacy in employment-related disputes.
Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve employment disputes efficiently.
Case Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of client files, deadlines, and case developments.
Legal Strategy: Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies that align with client objectives.
Compliance: Provide guidance to clients on employment policies, practices, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress, answer their questions, and address their concerns.
Qualifications:
LLB degree from an accredited law school and an admited attorney
1+ years of post articles experience practicing employment law, in a law firm setting.
Strong knowledge of state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
Proven negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
High ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

This position requires a highly skilled individual whose responsibilities would include drafting, negotiating and execution of project finance agreements, monitoring and control of general contractual obligations, maintaining contractual records and developing and implementing contractual procedures and policies under the various projects’ agreements contained in typical energy projects, with a specific emphasis on bidding/tendering and financial close procedures under the REIPPP Programme.
The position will involve the provision of paralegal support to the company's legal department based in London, focusing primarily on supporting the legal team on fund formation; corporate matters and transactional matters. The candidate can expect to gain significant knowledge and experience of a variety of fund types and investment deals across multiple jurisdictions, while simultaneously developing their legal drafting skills.
