About the role: Our client is a leading Private Equity company with an established presence in Nigeria. They are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Project Manager to join their team in Ibadan, Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope, timeline, and budget. This candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address issues proactively.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize project management tools to track progress and report on project status, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and success.

Candidates Requirements:

  • A Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing projects in the FMCG or Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications will be advantagous.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
