About the role: The individual will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of contracts in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and tendering scope of works in the company. He/she will be responsible for developing transparent, effective and efficient processes and procedures for the company’s contract delivery strategy across functions and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Commercial/Legal manager in developing the plan that addresses the contracting processes and execution of contracts as specified by Management.
• Definition of contracting strategies and tactics.
• Prepares pre-qualification and call for bid documentation/packages in accordance with corporate and project contracting and procurement procedures.
• Coordinates pre-qualification, tendering, bidding clarifications, technical and commercial evaluations and awarding processes ensuring timely progress.
• Liaises with HSE and operational areas to ensure that contract documents contain the necessary provisions for contractors/suppliers to execute the work.
• Archive and maintain documentation of all tendering processes as per auditing procedures.
• Post-contract award support to contract holders (operations and maintenance dpt.)
• Provides advice to contract holders on contractual issues and prepare/validate contractual correspondence.
• Ensures all contractual certificates, bonds and insurances required under the contract are in place in due time and ensure that risk management procedures are followed through the tendering, awarding and post-contracting process.
• Supervises the activities and performance of the contractors and subcontractors through effective contracting plan.
• Closes out all aspects of the Contract upon completion (or interim completion) in line with company process with clients.

Candidates Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Engineering, Project Management, or any related technical field.
• 7-10 years’ experience as contracts analyst/administrator in Oil & Gas, Energy, Telecommunication Engineering/Construction Projects
• Good understanding of engineering/construction contract management
• Experience in monitoring contractor’s performance with Duet, makes recommendations as necessary and maintains a network with Stakeholders (NAPIMS, NCD, DPR, etc.)
