What you'll do:
As Senior Manager, Real Estate and Administration (Engineering, Project and Facility Management), you will play a central role in shaping the operational excellence of an extensive property portfolio. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you developing forward-thinking strategies for asset management while ensuring every site operates seamlessly according to global benchmarks. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams—both internal staff and external partners—to deliver outstanding service quality across all engineering disciplines. - Oversee the professional operation and maintenance of engineering and real estate assets including headquarters buildings, executive residences, regional branch offices, and trade centres to ensure reliability, safety, healthiness, and comfort for all occupants.
- Develop and execute comprehensive short- and long-term strategies for integrated facility management services that keep all systems in impeccable condition while meeting stringent international standards.
- Formulate annual operation and maintenance plans for every building system and equipment type to guarantee optimal performance throughout their lifecycle.
- Manage all contractual, technical, commercial, and coordination aspects related to the operation and maintenance of buildings’ equipment and systems.
- Coordinate planned preventive maintenance as well as unplanned/reactive interventions to ensure seamless functioning of premises at all times.
- Lead 24/7 response teams addressing faults or emergencies promptly while maintaining accurate records of activities against pre-agreed service level targets.
- Direct large teams comprising engineers, supervisors, technicians as well as external FM service providers, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers; ensuring best practices are followed at every stage.
- Supervise complex electrical systems (including medium voltage switchgear), light current/low voltage systems (such as fire alarms and security), air conditioning plants (chillers/VRF units), mechanical systems (firefighting networks/elevators), civil works (carpentry/plumbing/painting), pumps/water tanks/elevators among others.
- Commission original vendors or certified representatives for critical system maintenance such as elevators/chillers/fire alarms/generators/access control systems to uphold warranty conditions and system integrity.
- Establish robust Service Level Agreements with contractors; monitor compliance with internal policies as well as legal requirements regarding safety/environmental/sanitary codes; enforce corrective actions where necessary.

- Master's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field such as Property & Facilities Management or Architecture;
- Professional certifications such as CPR, NEBOSH, AED, ISO14001, IOSH, BOMA or IFMA are highly desirable for demonstrating commitment to best practice in safety/environmental management.
- At least 10 years’ experience in electromechanical engineering or property/facilities management with proven track record managing complex portfolios across multiple locations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electro-mechanical systems within built environments including HVAC/electrical/fire protection/security/civil works components.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing external suppliers/contractors/consultants covering diverse services from routine maintenance through major capital projects.
- Excellent data analysis skills coupled with risk assessment capabilities enabling informed decision-making around asset performance/lifecycle planning.
- Familiarity with facilities documentation such as O&M manuals/drawings/engineer reports essential for effective oversight of technical operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) plus CAD software for reporting/planning purposes.
- Strategic thinking abilities combined with project management skills suitable for leading multi-million-dollar developments from inception through completion.
- Exceptional negotiation skills supported by strong stakeholder engagement abilities when dealing with regulatory bodies/service providers/internal clients.
