About the role: The VP/Principal will be involved in directly supporting the Managing Partner in the deploying the investment strategy of the fund and building the firm over the long term.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying potential investment target companies in line with the investment strategy;
• Take lead on executing new investments and achieving exits;
• Leading, assisting in due diligence, financial modelling, and deal execution;
• Take the lead and support with managing portfolio companies on behalf of the fund and providing support to build their capacity to ensure long-term growth and impact;
• Assist in the fundraising including enhancing marketing documents, meeting and finding new potential investors, attending conferences, etc;
• Assist in recruitment, management and development of the fund team and development of a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.

Candidates Requirements

• Highly motivated investment professional with at least least 7-10 years of private equity transaction experience from another private equity or venture capital fund
• At least 2-3 years of investment banking experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting is mandatory
• Graduate business degree, Chartered Accountant (CA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or MBA designations a plus but not required
• Significant experience performing complex financial analysis, modelling, company valuations, and
• Proven experience in sourcing, executing and completing successful deals
• Excellent investment judgement and “sense of the deal”
• Experience leading negotiations with multiple stakeholders and executing a wide range of agreements
