Project Manager

A new and exciting opportunity has just opened for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established Private Equity Company In Nigeria. About the Role This role is completely remote, but should be available for quarterly all-hands meeting. The Project Manager will be primarily attached to the office of a Founding Partner whose focus is on driving global growth, partnerships, new frontiers opportunities and international business engagements. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects led by the Partner; from initial ideation through to completion.

Roles and Responsibilities
● Defining project objectives, scope, roles & responsibilities.
● Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and external.
● Developing budgets based on requirements and then tracking costs to deliver within budget.
● Preparing detailed project plans incorporating milestones, work streams and dependencies.
● Tracking projects and providing regular reports on status, teams and stakeholders.
● Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
● Managing relationships and communication with clients and stakeholders.
● Ensuring quality control and excellent delivery on tasks.
● Coordinating the Partner’s overall high-stakes engagements locally and internationally.

Skills Set and Values
● At least 5 years of prior project management experience.
● PMP, Prince II or other credible project Management certifications.
● Proven track record of delivering excellent projects across verticals.
● Maturity, character and cultural exposure.
● Absolute discretion and confidentiality.
● Impeccable attention to detail.
● Advanced writing and grammar skills.
● Drive and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
● Ability to travel to any country within a moment’s notice.
