The individual will be responsible for Strategic leadership and day to day operations of end-to-end Supply Chain processes across Nigeria and International Business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Management
- Strategic network planning for fast, reliable, cost-effective product distribution across the region
- Design, development, and tracking of Supply Performance Metrics to have almost real time update of key functions for predictable outcome & negligible variance
- Map all critical Supply Chain Process – develop SOP, Training Modules, Training Calendar, Case Studies
- Build Supply Chain Leadership team and empower them to solve day to day problems in a group – adopt Kaizen and Six Sigma quality methods
Inventory Planning & Management
- Inventory planning and product availability anticipating customer needs
- 100% correct inventory records – Physical versus ERP
- 100% Recording & Tracking of Product Batch No. and Expiry Dates.
- Daily Inventory Reports with expiry dates
Inbound Logistics
- Onboarding of internationally reputed freight forwarders in all focus countries
- Customs clearance of all products within agreed SLA
- Avail duty benefits of IDEC and Continental Africa FTAs
Procurement
- Target cost savings through Strategic Sourcing against annual budget
- Register all reputed suppliers of products regularly purchase by client
Organizational and People Management
- Active participation in developing business and organizational strategy as a member of the management team.
- Manage staffing and resources availability, Supply chain team performance management
Logistics Management
- Onboarding of reputed national 3PL companies having extensive nationwide distribution capability, excellent service levels, defined processes and cost efficient
- On time delivery along with 100% POD
- Daily OTD Reports
Requirements:
- Degree ( 2:1)
- 7+ years' experience in Supply Chain
- Direct hands-on Management of complete operations of Multi Site Warehouses
- Exposure to working with 1,000 SKU’s requiring special handling and storage
- Hands on with ERP, preferably Dynamics 365
- Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as National Supply Chain Manager for a Division or Product Category
