Chief Revenue Officer (Media industry)

A leading Media & marketing client is looking for a CRO/CCO to join their team. Reporting to the CEO, the CRO will drive the clients commercial growth in Nigeria and support its Pan-African expansion. The role focuses on leading sales, hitting revenue targets, and building a high-performing commercial team across digital media, branded content, events, and influencer marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all revenue growth and deliver consistent double-digit sales performance.

  • Build, coach, and scale a top-tier commercial team.

  • Grow key accounts across FMCG, Telco, Finance, Fintech, Crypto, Betting, and Entertainment.

  • Develop and monetize new digital and branded content products.

  • Shape and execute Nigeria and Pan-African revenue strategy.

  • Represent the client with major brands, agencies, and at industry events.

Requirements

  • Strong track record in digital media, product commercialization, and sales leadership.

  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystems and monetization models.

  • Strong networks in Nigeria/Africa and ability to build scalable client solutions.

  • Strategic and hands-on, entrepreneurial, data-driven, and trusted by stakeholders.

  • Experience in betting, crypto, or fintech is a plus
