Corporate Retail Manager (Fuel, Lubricants & Non-Fuel Retail)
A leading oil & gas company is recruiting for an experienced retail professional in the oil & gas sector to join their retail corporate department. The Corporate Retail Manager will lead the overall retail strategy for the Group, ensuring full alignment between Affiliates and the Corporate direction. They will coordinate support across all retail domain, including fuels, lubes, non-fuel retail, and customer experience to drive growth, standardization, and network performance
Job responsibilities:
- Define, deploy, and continuously refine the Group Retail Strategy.
- Ensure alignment between corporate retail direction and affiliate retail strategies.
- Supervise Affiliate retail performance, including network development plans, ROI, and market competitiveness
- Coordinate Group Retail programs and initiatives with affiliates; ensure effective implementation.
- Support affiliates in optimizing their retail networks to improve volumes, margins, customer loyalty, and overall profitability
- Lead development of the non-fuel retail in, define NFR formats, strengthen existing partnerships and extend to new ones
Candidate requirements:
- Retail Network Management: Strong command of network planning, expansion, ROI modelling, asset optimization, and performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; additional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Retail Management preferred
- Commercial Acumen: Skilled in economic evaluation, strategic analysis, and commercial decision-making
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Downstream Oil & Gas Retail, gained within reputable multinational companies
- At least 5 years in a senior Retail leadership role, with a proven track record in developing and executing retail strategies across multiple geographies
- Bilingual: English & French (Arabic in addition is a plus)
