Business Intelligence Partner

Save job

My client is seeking a highly collaborative and analytical Business Intelligence Partner to support cross-functional reporting and project needs across our Business Intelligence, Merchandising, and Product teams within a global luxury jewellery business. In this role, you will translate business requirements into actionable insights and automated reports. You’ll work closely with teams across buying, planning, design, and operations to gather requirements, develop dashboards, and ensure stakeholders have timely access to accurate, meaningful data. This position is perfect for someone who is both data-literate and commercially minded, with a strong ability to tell compelling stories through numbers. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude—someone who enjoys solving problems, takes initiative, and is committed to growing their skills and professional brand within the jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary BI liaison for Merchandising and Product Development, translating business needs into clear reporting and data requirements.
  • Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports supporting:
    1. Sales performance tracking
    2. Sell-through and stock analysis
    3. Product lifecycle and launch performance
    4. Margin and cost analysis
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects including pricing strategy, demand planning, and NPD (new product development) tracking.
  • Support Merchandising with weekly trade reports, seasonal reviews, and executive presentations by delivering clean, visual, insight-driven outputs.
  • Work with IT, data engineers, and BI developers to ensure data pipelines are accurate, scalable, and aligned with reporting needs.
  • Maintain consistency and standardisation of data definitions, KPIs, and tools across the business.
  • Identify reporting gaps and proactively propose new tools, visualisations, or metrics that improve decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Merchandising, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a BI, data analyst, merchandising analyst, or planning role.
  • Experience working with product or retail data (particularly in luxury, fashion, or jewellery) is highly advantageous.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in BI, data analysis, merchandising analysis, or planning.
  • Background working with product or retail data, ideally within luxury, fashion, or jewellery.
