As we expand our operations globally, they are looking for a talented Content Operations Team Lead to join the team remotely from Egypt. This role is critical in ensuring the quality, safety, and engagement of content across our platform. Role Overview As the Content Operations Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a healthy and engaging content ecosystem on our platform. You will oversee content moderation, push notification management, and chat monitoring to ensure compliance with company policies while enhancing user experience. Additionally, you will lead efforts to gather insights into market trends and user behavior to inform content strategies. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Some Key Responsibilities May Include

Content Moderation & Quality Assurance

  • Review and moderate high-quality content to ensure it aligns with company guidelines and fosters a positive user experience.
  • Monitor user-generated content to maintain a safe, friendly, and engaging environment for all users.
  • Identify inappropriate or harmful content (e.g., abusive language, fraudulent activity) and take appropriate action in line with company policies.

Push Notification Management

  • Create and manage push notifications to keep users informed about updates, events, or relevant activities within the app.
  • Ensure notifications are timely, relevant, and aligned with user preferences to drive engagement.

Chat Monitoring & Abuse Prevention

  • Review chat messages to prevent abuse, inappropriate behavior, or fraudulent activity.
  • Maintain a clean and friendly chat environment by enforcing community standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address escalated issues promptly.

Content Development & User Engagement

  • Develop engaging content that resonates with user preferences and enhances their overall experience on the platform.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement content strategies that align with business goals.

Market Insights & Trend Analysis

  • Gather insights into market trends, user behaviors, and emerging content preferences.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve content strategies and user satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead by example by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices for content moderation and operations.
  • Coordinate with global teams across different time zones to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in Chinese is a plus as the company HQ is in China
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Strong understanding of content operations processes such as moderation or social application platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills for identifying trends or patterns in user behavior.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in content moderation or operations within social media platforms or similar industries is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools or systems used for managing large-scale content ecosystems is beneficial.
