Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Product Designer with a strong background in fintech or financial services. This role is critical for designing user-centric digital products that deliver seamless experiences while addressing complex business needs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in end-to-end product design processes, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery, as well as a deep understanding of fintech platforms and customer journeys.

This position requires someone who can balance creativity with technical feasibility, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and leverage modern design tools and methodologies to create innovative solutions for the company’s growing suite of products.

Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development:
•Lead the end-to-end design process for fintech products, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI/UX designs.
•Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that align with brand guidelines while meeting user needs.
•Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional designs.
•Design scalable solutions for complex workflows such as lending applications, payment systems, or account management tools.
User Research & Insights:
•Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to understand customer pain points and behaviors.
•Translate insights into actionable design improvements that enhance user experience and engagement.
•Stay informed about industry trends in fintech UX/UI design and incorporate best practices into product development.

Collaboration & Communication:
•Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
•Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization for feedback and approval.
•Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and goals.
Design Systems & Standards:
•Develop and maintain a robust design system to ensure consistency across all digital products.
•Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive design for all users.
•Continuously refine design processes to improve efficiency and quality across projects

Qualifications / Required Skills
Experience & Expertise:
•7+ years of experience in product design roles within fintech or financial services industries with a string grasp of the business side principles of product design
•Proven track record of designing successful digital products from concept to launch.
•Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications (fintech examples preferred).

Technical Skills:
•Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
•Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
•Experience working with complex data visualizations or dashboards is highly desirable.
•Familiarity with AI/ML-driven product features or personalization techniques in fintech platforms.
•Experience designing for regulated environments or compliance-heavy industries like finance or insurance
