A leading downstream oil and energy company is hiring a Corporate Retail Operational Excellence coordinator to oversee their affiliate retail operations in Casablanca, Nairobi, Tunis, Cairo, and Abidjan.
Job responsibilities:
The role includes all aspects of retail sales: Retail Fuel, Lubricants, Network development and Payment.
Manage overall development and implementation of retail sales strategies and marketing plans to deliver retail sales growth and market share objectives for each of the Commercial product lines (Fuels, LPG, Lubricants, and Specialties)
Benchmark fixed costs and overheads and focus on optimizing cost effectiveness of retail operations
Implement and maintain effective loss prevention measures to minimize inventory shrinkages and ensure stock security at sites level.
Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and recommending strategies for improvement.
Candidate requirements:
Minimum of 5 – 10 years relevant work experience in Retail Sales
Extensive proven experience in similar leadership position, preferably in a major Oil & gas distribution company, the ideal candidate must prove successful retail experience in roles such as Retail Manager, Network Manager, Lubricant Manager, and other Retail activities
Strong track record of setting strategic direction and exceeding business goals
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with an ability to interact effectively in a multi-client environment.
Strong team leader and cross functional worker, with experience of managing, coaching, and developing a multicultural team
Fluent written and spoken English. French in addition to English will be a great advantage.
