Assistant Manager, Real Estate (Housekeeping)
Our client, an established trade finance institution on the continent is recruiting for their team in Cairo. They are looking for an experienced Real Estate Assistant Manager (Housekeeping) to join their management team in Cairo.
The Real Estate & Administration division at the Group plays a critical role in ensuring seamless real estate, procurement, and general management services through the deployment of innovative, cost-effective, and client-focused systems and processes.
The Assistant Manager, Real Estate & Administration (Housekeeping) is responsible for overseeing and managing all housekeeping and catering services at the clients headquarters, ensuring high-quality hygiene, cleanliness, and food services.
This role requires leading and motivating the housekeeping and catering teams to provide a safe, hygienic, and conducive work environment for the staff, tenants, and guests, while ensuring compliance with international best practices, QHSE standards, and the clients policies.
This role focuses on managing housekeeping, catering, and team operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Housekeeping Management – Supervising cleaning services, enforcing quality and safety standards, managing budgets, overseeing pest control and waste management, and ensuring adequate supply of cleaning materials.
- Catering Management – Overseeing food service quality, enforcing hygiene standards, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with service agreements.
- Team Management – Defining responsibilities, evaluating performance, optimizing workflows, fostering teamwork, and supporting professional development.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in housekeeping, catering, hospitality, or soft services management.
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) services and housekeeping/custodial tasks.
- Proven experience in managing teams in a corporate or hospitality setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Soft Services Management, Home Economics, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration
