Assistant Manager, Business Continuity Management

Our client is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager for their Real Estate and Administration division, with a focus on Business Continuity Management.

This role is integral to the company's operational resilience, ensuring seamless real estate, procurement and general management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a robust Business Continuity Management framework across all regional offices and subsidiaries.

Key qualifications and experience required for the Assistant Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (master’s degree is preferred)
  • Professional certifications in Business Continuity are essential
  • 6–10 years of experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), Risk Management or Operational Resilience
  • 4–6 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within BCM, Risk or Disaster Recovery Planning
  • Proven track record in conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments and crisis simulations
  • Strong understanding of IT disaster recovery processes, cybersecurity risk mitigation and compliance standards

Key duties of the Assistant Manager:

  • Enhance the company's ability to respond effectively to disruptions
  • Assist in implementing the Business Continuity and Contingency Plan
  • Identify, develop, and implement risk controls for business continuity
  • Conduct frequent Business Impact Assessments
  • Prepare comprehensive reports following business continuity exercises
  • Provide hands-on support to staff during business disruptions or security emergencies
  • Support the evaluation of crisis situations and contingency triggers
  • Provide strategic recommendations on Business Continuity Management to senior management
  • Facilitate training, awareness, and testing exercises aimed at bolstering the company's operational resilience
