Our client, a global nonprofit professional organisation in the field of project management is looking for an experienced sales professional to join their team remotely, handling Sales and Market Expansion for their Construction Professional certification in Sub Saharan Africa.

Role responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to position PMI-CP as the industry’s preferred certification.
  • Leverage an extensive personal network to establish high-value B2B relationships with top-tier construction firms, engineering enterprises, government agencies, and leading industry bodies
  • Forge strategic alliances with major industry players, including authorized training partners (ATPs), universities, regulatory bodies, and trade associations
  • Expand PMI-CP’s reach through industry collaborations, ensuring it becomes the go-to certification for career advancement
  • Lead high-level B2B negotiations, using a consultative approach to drive executive buy-in and immediate decision-making
  • Convert one-time training sales into recurring revenue through enterprise-wide subscription models

Candidate requirements:

  • 10+ years of executive experience in B2B sales, corporate training sales, or construction/engineering industry leadership
  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role driving market expansion in construction or professional certification domains (prefered)
  • An extensive and well-established network within the construction, infrastructure, and project management sectors
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value corporate partnerships and multi-million-dollar deals
  • Expertise in selling complex solutions (certifications, training programs, or professional development services) at an enterprise level.
  • Outstanding executive presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Deep familiarity with PMI certifications preferred (PMP, PMI-CP) and construction project management frameworks
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, sustainability trends, and digital transformation within the construction sector.
