My client is globally acclaimed mining firm and a leading primary producer of platinum group metals with mining, smelting and refining operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that Data Centre and Cloud infrastructure enables teams to easily and successfully adopt data centre and cloud infrastructure and platform services. The role is involved in design and implementation activities that result in new or improved cloud-related capabilities, and it brings skills and expertise to such areas as cloud technical architecture (for a workload’s use of infrastructure as a service [IaaS] and platform as a service [PaaS] components); automating cloud management tasks, provisioning and configuration management; and other aspects involved in preparing and optimizing cloud solutions. The role will also be responsible for defining and maintaining FinOps governance and enablement capabilities and Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID administration.

This role profile acts as a guide to the role only and additional work outcomes may be required to be performed by the incumbent

• Providing technical support for AD/Entra ID services and resolve service-related issues through research and troubleshooting and working with Microsoft.
• Implementation of industry leading practices around AD/Entra

• Cloud migration project experience
• Securing cloud platforms and cloud workloads in collaboration with security teams.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud service providers is essential

• Advanced: Cloud provider frameworks (e.g., Well-Architected)
• Advanced: Operating systems (e.g., Windows and Linux including scripting experience)
• Advanced: Identity and access management (e.g., Active Directory/Azure AD, Group Policy, SSO, cloud RBAC and hierarchy and federation)
• Proficient: Analyzing cloud spending and optimizing resources
