Head Supply Chain Finance- FMCG

The Head of Supply Chain Finance will lead the finance function supporting the end-to-end supply chain, providing strong financial control, cost visibility and commercial insight across manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role will oversee Cost Accounting, Factory Accounting and Accounts Payable, while driving financial analysis and performance improvement across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Supply Chain Finance function and provide financial leadership to manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Oversee cost accounting, factory accounting and accounts payable activities.
• Drive accurate product costing, standard costing, variance analysis and cost control.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital and supply chain financial performance.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to identify cost optimisation opportunities.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and compliance across the supply chain.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for supply chain and manufacturing operations.
• Develop and monitor key financial KPIs and provide actionable insights to the CFO and leadership team.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and working capital through better financial management.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years’ experience in finance, with significant exposure to FMCG, manufacturing or a complex supply chain environment.
• Strong track record in cost accounting, factory accounting, accounts payable and financial analysis.
• Proven experience partnering with manufacturing and supply chain leadership teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory, product costing, manufacturing variances and working capital.
• Experience managing finance teams and delivering robust financial controls and reporting.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
