Senior Financial Accountant

We are working with a well-established financial services organisation that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and supporting strong financial control across the business. You will also play a key part in providing insights, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you will be responsible for

• Preparing and managing financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow)
• Handling journals, reconciliations, and general ledger integrity
• Supporting financial control, compliance, and risk management processes
• Assisting with financial modelling and data analysis
• Interpreting policies and providing financial guidance to stakeholders
• Identifying improvements in processes and controls

What we are looking for

• CA(SA) qualified
• 4–6 years’ experience in accounting (financial services preferred)
• 1–2 years at a Senior Accountant level
• Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT, and Income Tax
• Solid experience with reconciliations, fixed assets, and reporting
• Good Excel skills and accounting systems experience
• Confident engaging with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
