What you'll do:

As a Group Finance Accountant, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic finance environment where your day-to-day responsibilities revolve around delivering precise financial reports, supporting consolidation efforts, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will be expected to

• Prepare and deliver accurate, high-quality financial reporting by providing clear analysis and insights that support senior management decision-making across the business.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated multi-currency group management accounts and oversee the monthly reporting cycle to ensure timely delivery of robust outputs.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, maintaining consistency across all entities within the Group.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes by coordinating deadlines and ensuring all outputs meet rigorous quality standards.
• Prepare consolidation adjustments while ensuring uniformity of accounting treatment throughout the Group’s operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Group accounting policies and best practices by collaborating with colleagues across departments.
• Deliver budgeting and cost analysis to support financial planning initiatives and performance tracking for various business units.
• Participate in regulatory reporting requirements across the Group by compiling accurate submissions in line with statutory obligations.
• Support acquisition accounting activities and assist with integrating new businesses into Group reporting processes seamlessly.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, including leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

What you bring:

• Newly qualified accountant with 1–2 years’ experience gained within a corporate finance environment or Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong technical accounting skills demonstrated through an excellent academic track record.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and solutions-oriented thinking when faced with challenges.
• Exceptional organisational skills enabling you to manage competing priorities effectively while meeting tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail coupled with accountability for delivering accurate outputs consistently.
• Confident communicator able to engage effectively with both finance professionals and non-finance stakeholders across the business.
• Professional demeanour marked by discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive information.
• Comfortable working in an evolving environment where ambiguity is common; adaptable approach ensures success amid change.
• Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks from inception through completion without requiring constant supervision.
