Execution Trader

We are partnering with a growing investment management business looking to add an Execution Trader to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about financial markets and keen to develop within a buy-side environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the execution of investment decisions across multiple asset classes, working closely with portfolio managers and the broader trading team. You’ll gain exposure to a fast-paced, professional trading environment with opportunities to grow and build your skillset.

What you will be responsible for

• Executing trades across equities, fixed income, FX, and funds
• Ensuring accurate and timely execution in line with portfolio manager instructions
• Monitoring orders and providing updates to stakeholders
• Managing relationships with brokers, custodians, and counterparties
• Handling trade capture, allocation, and reconciliations
• Supporting post-trade processes and resolving any breaks
• Contributing to risk management, compliance, and process improvements

What we are looking for

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in a trading or investment environment
• Exposure to trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Iress, or TradingView is beneficial
• Strong Excel and data handling skills
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with a genuine interest in markets
• Strong communication skills (English essential, French beneficial)
