Supply Chain Finance Business Partner

The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner will provide financial leadership and business partnering support across production and operations, with a focus on cost management, financial analysis and operational performance. Client: A publicly listed group company

Key Responsibilities

• Provide finance business partnering support to manufacturing and operations teams.
• Lead financial analysis and reporting related to production costs and operational performance.
• Oversee cost accounting and factory accounting activities, including product costing and variance analysis.
• Monitor production costs, budgets and operational expenditure, identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making and improve profitability.
• Partner with Operations to drive productivity, efficiency and cost improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor inventory, production variances and key operational financial KPIs.
• Ensure strong financial controls and accuracy of operational financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports and provide actionable insights to the Head of Supply Chain Finance and operational leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in finance, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing or a similar environment.
• Strong track record in cost accounting, factory accounting and financial analysis.
• Good understanding of manufacturing costs, product costing, inventory and production variances.
• Experience partnering closely with Operations and manufacturing teams.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
